Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Phoenix Planner collects, uses, and shares information in connection with Phoenix Chronicle, a digital service for storing, organizing, and searching your cycle records. This policy applies only to Phoenix Chronicle and related Chronicle subscriptions. It does not apply to physical Phoenix Planner products, orders, or shipping.

We may collect the following categories of information:

• Account information, such as your email address and account identifiers.
• Subscription and billing information related to Chronicle access, including plan status, purchase records, and customer identifiers provided through our billing platform. Payment card details are generally processed by our payment and commerce providers rather than stored directly by us.
• Content you submit to Chronicle, including cycle titles, notes, uploaded images, transcriptions, and other records you choose to store in the service. This content is private by default and protected by account-scoped access controls and private storage rules. Phoenix Planner does not read the contents of Chronicle records except when you explicitly request content-processing features, such as AI-assisted transcription, or when limited access is required by law or to protect the security and integrity of the service.
• Device and usage information, such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, timestamps, referring pages, and interaction data.
• Information collected through cookies, local storage, pixels, or similar technologies used to keep you signed in, maintain security, understand usage, and support future analytics or marketing.
• Communications you send to us, including support requests and other correspondence.

We may use personal information to:

• Provide, operate, secure, and maintain Phoenix Chronicle.
• Create and authenticate accounts and keep users signed in.
• Process purchases, confirm subscription status, and manage billing-related access.
• Store, organize, search, and display the records you create inside Chronicle.
• Provide optional AI-assisted transcription features when you request them.
• Respond to support requests, service issues, and account questions.
• Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, and misuse.
• Improve Chronicle's reliability, performance, and user experience.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms and policies.

Phoenix Chronicle may offer optional AI-assisted transcription or related processing. When you choose to use those features, the selected images, text, and related instructions may be sent to our AI service providers for processing. Because Chronicle records may contain personal or sensitive information, you should use care when deciding what to upload or submit for AI processing.

We may share information with:

• Service providers that help us operate Chronicle, such as hosting, authentication, database, storage, infrastructure, and customer support providers.
• Billing and commerce providers that help us manage Chronicle purchases, subscriptions, and account linking.
• AI service providers when you request AI-assisted Chronicle features.
• Analytics, advertising pixel, and error-monitoring providers if and when those tools are implemented to help us understand usage, measure marketing, or troubleshoot problems.
• Professional advisors, law enforcement, regulators, or other parties when required to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, or protect rights, safety, and property.
• A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction.

Chronicle and our service providers may use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the service, remember sessions, secure accounts, understand traffic patterns, and support future analytics or advertising features. Your browser may allow you to block or delete certain cookies, but doing so may affect how Chronicle functions.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Chronicle, maintain account records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the service. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the purpose for which it was collected.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information we hold about you. California residents may also have rights related to knowing what categories of information we collect, request deletion or correction, and opt out of certain uses if applicable under California law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights provided by law.

We do not currently describe Chronicle as selling personal information for money. If we later implement advertising or data-sharing practices that create additional opt-out obligations under applicable law, we will update this policy and provide any required rights process.

To make a privacy request, email support@phoenixplanner.com from the email associated with your Chronicle account and describe your request.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Phoenix Chronicle is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through Chronicle.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Chronicle, our practices, or legal requirements. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
